Please help with this nightmare!!! Just put a new clutch, throw out bearing, clutch slave cylinder and clutch master cylinder in my 1973 luv. After adjusting slave cylinder push rod, almost all the way to the end of the threads and bleeding the clutch I can't get the clutch disengaged. It won't even shift when the truck is off. With the clutch in or out. Start the truck and the clutch Slips and want to make the truck move. Help!!!!! This shouldn't be this hard. I do have about 1.5 inches of pedal travel before it starts trying to disengage the clutch

If you can't shift in or out of any gears with the eng. off then I would think you have a shifter/trans. problem going on. Have you tried moving the truck with the eng. off? Is it in a gear? Will it start and run without the truck moving?
