Well my race season is complete. Before I brag about my season, I am willing to yield the floor to everyone to share their trials and tribulations first. The floor is open....

Oh , I have a bunch I could tell you . Trailer blow outs , lug nut studs broken off and a trailer wheel that was never found . Track manager changed points rules 3 round of second race and back credited points, then rained out last 3 races .....won 3 of 5 races and runner up'd in 1 and lost track championship and a trip to world finals by 1 round and 7 points . Broken converters 3 broken trans in both blue and yellow trucks . Got to 14 cars at bracket finals last weekend and planet broke in trans this was round 5 and I was killing it . Ready for a break.

Dang...if not for bad luck, you'd have no luck at all.

Well...can't compete with the "hard luck" stories of Hotrod80, but...(there is always a "but"). My lil "ol wrecking yard special and I had a pretty good year. Highlights are: went to Madras, Oregon just for the fun of it and pulled off a win. Won a silver Wally at Walla Walla Dragstrip (home track) during the Nation Dragster challenge race. Qualified and went to the NHRA district 6 finals in Mission Canada. Went out in the Semi finals, (7 racers left) for the Race of Champions. Thats the one that sends you to Pomona for all the marbles. Did win the team race! That came with another Wally. As seen on page 101 of NHRA national dragster magazine issue 19 volume 57. Then back at Walla Walla I won the points championship for the second year in a row. But the most awesome thing of this year was the people that I met! There Ain't nothing like the racing community. Like at the Mission race, 11 tracks sent there top 6 in each class and anyone else that wanted to show up. Approx 450 cars. Cars broke down and everyone, even from other teams jumped in and offered parts and assistance. Go figure, helping out another racer just to meet in the next round. Can you say sportsmanship?

So all in all, I would say I had a spectacular year. will try and post some photos later.
