Well .... I think it's time somebody else gets to enjoy the LUV ...... after almost 36 years of registrations, hunting trips, vacations, road trips, off-roading. Take a look. Located in northern Colorado. Contact me here on the forum if interested.

Is that the original Jasmine paint? I was thinking it was a much deeper yellow. Mine appears the same.

It was a one time only repaint but using the original paint code .... and you can tell the match on the door jams which were not repainted.

The underside of the hood also is original paint.

This is the original ad. Doesn't mean the color shown in the ad was used in production. Makes me happy. I won't have to paint the interior!

This brochure shows the 1979 color ..... mine is the 1980 Yellow .... the 1979 was a deeper yellow.

Now I'm totally confused. My truck is a 79. Supposed to be original paint. Stickers still in place under the hood. Weigh in gurus. Any chance my 79 was painted with 80 yellow?

That really looks like the 1980 paint color ..... I do not recall any 1979's painted with that lighter color .... BUT ..... I'm certainly not an expert. We should compare paint codes to see what they tell us. Under the hood on mine .....
