Hello Chevy Luv Fans,

I'm entering Champion Spark Plugs Search for a Champion Contest for a sponsorship for the upcoming race season. I drag race my 1980 Chevy Luv Truck. I'm trying to take my chevy luv truck to the next level and be able to travel to more track in 2016. I do here and there, I ran three weekends in 2015. We are working on our race schedule now. Its the closest track to my home. But Portland International Raceway is where I run usually for points then travel to different bigger races on the weekends.

Cool deal, any idea how you are doing in the Champion contest so far?

We can get an idea but nothing exact. I fell out of the top 15 most viewed entries, doesn't exactly correlate to votes but it gives us an idea. Votes are only 1/3 so the other two categories(Inspirational Quality and Depiction of a Champion) I think I will be strong on in so I think we are doing well. We still have two week left of voting. So we have time to improve in the votes category but need people to vote daily.

Just wanted to update you all!
This morning Champion announced the 15 finalist. Unfortunately our video was not one of them, while this is disappointing news we greatly appreciative of all the support we received during the voting period, and thank each and every one of you for every vote that was cast. We will take the lessons that we learned during the making of this year’s video and apply them this summer as we gather new content and different shots for next year’s video. If any of you have a back ground in video production and would be willing to share some of your expertise, we would love to hear from you and use your guidance in the making of our next video.
Again, many many thanks for all your support during our campaign.

We have many great things to look forward this season. We will continue to race the luv truck for the 2016 season. But I will also be starting to work on getting my super comp license this June!
