Anybody figured out how to beat the Luv wheelie without using bars? I just don't like wheelie bars. But getting into the 1.20s-1.teens 60' the wheelie is slowing me down. Not to mention harder to drive. Got the front pretty tight...thinking about adding front weight. Any suggestions?

What kind of suspension do you have? A 4 link can be adjusted to limit wheelies.

Ladder bar rear. I have a 4.30 rear gear, may start going up on gear.

Yeah ladder bars arent too adjustable. You can try softening the rear shocks and as you said adding weight to the front.

Mine was a wheelie machine with the ladder bars. I stiffened the rebound on the rear shocks some and added limiters to the front and that helped. Too much hook caused the wheelies, IMO... All this was with the stock front end and coil overs. I swapped over to the adjustable tubular a arms and the mustang II spindles and rotors, using the same coil overs. No limiters on this set up, and I have a lot more travel now than stock, and it didn't wheelie at all. Weird...

I did add front limiters this winter. Maybe that will help. Just seems like most Luvs I have seen when they start getting in the low 1.30s-1.20s 60' the wheelies become a problem. Then just get worse. Don't want to tear up my truck but don't want to run sissy sticks either..
