So when I bought this last truck it had the wiring harness ripped out. So i made a new harness for the wiper motor hooked everything up and got no power after the switch. So i hot tied it to each of the wires ccoming off the motor and still got nothing from the wiper motor. I need help trouble shooting further. Is the a relay I need? from the diagram it looks as simple as a hot with a 15 a fuse. Help is appreciated thanks. LUV LIFE!

I guess you have the inagiton switch on? Run a hot wire from your battery, where you can touch the hot post on the wipper motor. Do not attach the wire to the post, just hit it will not burn any thing up, you can do it several times. Get some to pull a little on the wiper post where it comes out buy the windshield . If that does not the free frozen motor you may be up the creek. If you want to squirt some break free or PB blaster down the motor first, that may help too. Give it a half hour to work first. You may alreadly how to do this.

That all I can think may help. don't spray a lot of PB blaster or whit us as they are all messy to clean-wipe up.

Grandmaster of the "Shade Tree" way.. I can't see the yard for all the cars. Come on down and we will sit on the porch and watch the grass grow.

There is no ignition switch just kill switch and push button. The motor looks brand new. I'm lost I'll try to follow that diagram again.

Update: Got a wiper motor harness out of another truck plugged it in found a good ground. Wipers work great. They dont go all the way down but i remember my old truck doing that too. Also got my heater wired up. man the guy who had my truck before me really did a job on this rewire. Solder and duct taped everything. haha terrible. Shes all cleaned up and going now! woooo whoo

cheers! :ewink
