The subject line pretty much says it all.

I am still trying to find a Dome light for my Luv (I think we all are)

Just want to know if the Larger Mikado unit screws in with the same mounting as the smaller standard dome light?

Nicko

I got tired of trying to find a light in good condition. I got a light from a Mitsubishi Mighty Max and it screwed right in.

Yep, thanks for the patience, I'm just slower than I thought I'd be. Here are some photos of the Mikado style light / dome lamp, and its mount configuration.

Thanks mate!

Looks like the Mikado has an offset mounting hole on the one side to allow for the switch.

I found a NOS light, looks like there is enough meat on the mounting plate to redrill for the Mikado light so I bought it.

Wasnt cheap but its in the origional package and box!

Keep in mind that the hole also appears to function as a ground. Presumably, you'll be handling grounding some other way, since the metal clip won't be the same there.

The ground should still work the same way as the screw will earth to the metal mounting.
