Yeah I thought the mirrors were tasteful. I was going to run some clamp on hot rod style mirrors but the lip on the window frame is to short to get a good clamp surface.

Looking forward to seeing your truck with the florian front end!

Hey looking good, sorry for the delay, work keeps me very honest these days.

I have the G161z in my luv right now to clear a defect but it will be available with 5 speed, offenauser intake, weber 32/36, and crane fireball ignition if you are interested. I also have an angry can for it as well.

Do you have front discs? Mine is all drums.

Hi MrBadLuv

Mine is also all drums.

I would be interested depending on price and shipping to the other side of the country? I have grown accustomed to the slow chug of the little truck.

Well the wheels and whitewalls went on today....... Looked amazing.

2 whitewall inserts ripped out on the first drive....... So whitewall inserts now being removed :(

Looks like I will have to get proper white wall tyres.

Grill and headlight surrounds are now a nice gloss black and the door trims are now red but the seat cover is yet to arrive.

Pictures to follow.

there is a trick to fitting the white wall inserts, but i dont know what it is! I know of a few cars that run them and dont have an issue but they get pretty ratty by the end of the tyres life.
Shame they came off as i think the wheel colour with the white walls would look killer on your truck!

Well I got the upholstery kit on.

It isnt perfect. The s10 must have a straight sided lower section where as the Luv seat curves in towards the rear which makes it a tight fit. Also I had to modify the lower section a little and it hasnt pulled as tight on the drivers side as I would like at the rear. I am hoping I can stretch it a little on a hot day and re adjust.

Also got the 8 ball shifter on and some new tail lights and side indicators.

Did you get the Dash cap out of the US, How difficult was it to fit and how does it look? 8O

Hi pa_man

Yes I got the dash cap on ebay from the USA. It was easy to fit. I used a sharp stanley knife to champher the edges of the old dash around the front (Closest to the winsdscreen) so that the edges that were curling and cracking didnt stop the cap from fitting nicely. The kit comes with sikaflex and good instructions. Very easy.

Unfortunately I also have a dash repair under under the glovebox which the dash cap doesnt fix :(

The Dash cap is plastic not soft vinyl like the origonal so yes it is noticeable but it looks a hell of a lot better!

Thanks for the info Nick,as I only have half half a Luv at the moment am trying to gather as much information as I
can for when I get a whole one.
Also got me thinking about the Seat Upholstery kit too.
Have got a Mikado Steering wheel for mine (future tense) and am having an Isuzu badge made for it.
The half I have is the Tub, with an Isuzu Badged tailgate.
I luv the look of the narrow front bumper on yours Too, A difficult part too get! :D

New Maxxis whitewalls fitted.
NOS KYB's fitted to the rear
Exhaust cut and dump pipe fitted before the rear axle.

Truck rides 100% better with the car tyres instead of the light truck radials. Combined with the new shocks it rides like a dream in comparison.

Exhaust no longer hits the rear axle on full compression :)

I've been a bit quiet of late but I fitted this sunvisor to the Luv today.
Image
It needs to come back off to tidy up the mounts and for paint but I think it suits the car well.

Visor looks good, is it for a luv or did you make it fit from another vehicle?
