The valve covers appear to be big block, I might be wrong. Someone else chime in after seeing the video.

That is definitely a big block chevy. I can't imagine what he had to do just to fit the motor in there let alone the suspension upgrades necessary to drift that well.

one of his other videos he says what motor is in it and what the rear end is, but not much else. I watched it a couple of times to try and see what mods he has done, but it's just a quick glimpse.

There's a drifting track up here that made me curious to see a LUV out there.
I don't think I could ever do it to mine because of how hard it is on them, but it would be badass if I had an extra :p
