Did any of the luv's come with chrome windshield mouldings? I thought I seen one but not for sure. If so, can you still get the rubber and does anyone have the chrome strip? I do realize it's stainless, not actually chrome.

1. Yes
2. I believe so, but you are really going to have to look.
3. I doubt it, unless someone has a nos one they have stashed all these years. They don't hold up to the sun very well. mine fell apart in the mid 80's :(
4. No if I remember right it is chromed plastic with a clear cover on it

I think some of the earlier years had a stainless strip in the center of the windshield gasket. The ~78 and up had the plasticy thing in there.

I went to my local glass shop to inquire about the plastic chrome that was installed on my original 1980 LUV. Forty -five minutes later a new one was installed. I don't know about finding the rubber.

Good Luck - Koz
