i have a 10 behind my passenger seat amp is under passenger seat, it doesnt fit just right the seat stops about 1 1/2" from the back but if you make the box you can make it fit fine, i always thought it would be cool to fit one behind the seat and have the box extend out to the center with the port between the seats

i read up on it and the box has to be the right size and have enough air inside, so ill probably put it behind my seat and build the box really slim, but tall.

with that brace that goes across the cab your better off with wide than tall, will be a lot easier to fit without messing with your seat placement

And please do follow up with some pictures of your sub box solution if you can! I want to see a decent precedent.

I've got a 12" sub that has been sitting waiting for this, and TILTED isnt kidding - there's no depth to put behind the speaker. It's either touching the seat, or touching the back of the box. A short wide box was about the best solution I could imagine, but I can't sacrifice all of what little space there is behind the seat for tiedown stuff and an extinguisher.

Im going to do it next weekend, because i need the help of my uncle, he has all the tools ill need(nail gun) and i do not know much about setting up an amp and sub, but once mines done, ill show you, and ill give you the dimensions... if you only have one, you could have it behind the drivers seat, and have all your other stuff piled behind the passenger seat, haha, thats how ill have it.

I had a 8 inch sub that was in a slim enclosure, it fit perfectly behind my passenger seat, and for some crazy reason, I threw it out. I still have no idea why I threw it out, maybe it wasn't working at the time or I was just being an idiot like most of the time. I sure do miss it! I'm currently looking at sub alternatives, but I'm not too sure if I can get quality sound without one.
