Well Now I have something new to vent about Most of my unit will be deploying back to Ft. Lewis over the next few weeks and sunce I did such a "great job" I get to stay here attached to another friggin unit GAWD being good at your job sometimes just doesnt pay off !!!
But I can hold my head high and say that I was the fucking best surgical tech here in my unit I scrubbed over 130 cases and only one death! Not bad I would say.
The one death was that air force Major that was with the 101st guys who got fragged in their tent. I imagine that many of you heard about that well we got all the guys here at out hospital and they all did great. Well anyway Rason I am at Camp Wolf You will more than likely be inprocessed into country here, just give me a date when you are gonna be here and maybe we can shoot the shit for a while since your here!! lol Well I gotta run Take care all

They inprocess at camp wolf now? When I inprocessed last Jan. we did it at camp Arifjan. But eneyhow I'll be thier on the 13th of Nov. As for you staying their with another unit. Thats what I'm doing going back to replace guys that are leaving for onew reason or another. Well if I do inprocess through Camp Wolf we will have to hook up. Till then take it easy.

Husker, can I ask what you do over there? Sounds kind of like your a medic or surgeon or something along those lines....

Well Rason it looks like I might miss you I am supposed to be moving to Camp Doha on the first. I am being attached to the 801st CSH ya gotta love it lol having a regular army puke like myself being attached to a reserve unit!!
Sundown, I am a surgical tech I work in the operating room helping the Docs patch all these guys back together!
I mean working in the controlled enviroment of a hospital is one thing but when your working in a field hospital it is another world, you see the violence and hardships of war first hand.

Doha boy thats going to be a vacation compared to what your used to in Iraq. I was their a couple of times during my first stint. As compared to the rest of that shit box it's not that bad. Who knows we still might run into each other being in transportation I get around alot. Later.
