<------ Avatar truck has all the good stuff, and apparently, it must be worth about 50 bucks according to the offers I have had for it...

I cant give you a solid number but you stated you have a chunk into it. It's going to be hard to get it back. My truck is tubed, small block, new paint, all new interior and I would be lucky to get what it cost me to paint back. Kind of what mighty mouse was saying.

I think the quarter rule applies to LUVs. Worth about a quarter of what you have invested. :(

I think I would be lucky to get 5k for mine. Like I said my interior is stock with a new dash, recovered buckets, 9 inch rear end, 31X18.5X15 rear tires, 406 small block and a Pearl paint job, all done about 6 years àgo. I could be wrong but don't think so.

thats what i asumed. i love these little trucks ive got a pearl blue to paint it. my inteior is far from stock it has low back buckets new carpet and so on a custom built dash that has the same shape as the original but with custom gauges. we also smoothed the fire wall. so as far as it being original its far from it i think the most original thing about it it the steering wheel. im building a stout street car just trying to be different. lol everyone has a nova or camaro. thank you all so much for the info im kinda new to these trucks. someday i would like to narrow mine and four link it. maybe try nitrous a small shot dont know its an open book from here.

Location and presentation changes alot of things. I got almost what Luvrv8 was thinking his is worth for one i had as a roller . Down south these trucks are getting harder to come by and a proven truck will bring more money then a project . There will be a ton of people that offer you 25% of what you got into it , but one or two that really want it . Just a tasteful solid color would help also .

I converted mine from 6 to 5 using wicked mayhams machined piece, he even sucked in my fronts a inch, I highly recommend his work.

ok thats good to know. how might i get in touch with this person? i really want this done to get some new wheels i really dont care for the ones i have but they work for now. i would really like a set of rodlites from weld. thinking of going down in tire size from a 12 wide to maybe 10 wide. but keep it the same hieght 26 tall. this way maybe i can work with back spacing suck the tires in and drop it on the ground this getting rid of the door wedge i have now.
