I took my LUV on a little adventure this weekend. I got my wife's new truck stuck out in the middle of nowhere. A place where mostly only 4-wheelers go. I stuck a 4-wheel drive the only way they can be, I think. It was high centered, bad. After about a 5 mile walk to my home where I picked up my LUV and drove to buy a new come-along I commenced taking the LUV to the scene of the so-called tragedy. My 2-wheel drive LUV miraculously navigated itself through mudholes that were as deep as it is tall. It made it almost to where the other truck was stuck, had it not been for yet another bad call by myself, would have made it all the way. The LUV went sideways in a pair of ruts that completely swallowed the tires and left the little truck sitting there on its frame. I used the come-along to free my wife's truck then used it to free the LUV. On the way out the LUV's distributor got wet in an especially deep waterhole and I had to swim out and dry it with my shirt. We eventually made it back to the highway and to the carwash. I have loved my LUV since the day I got it, but this weekend I learned to also respect my LUV for the abuse it can take. I also learned that I should let the LUV drive, it has a little more sense than I do. Maybe next time I let the LUV tell the story!!

i remember when i had my 81. my cousins was teasing me to go muddin with them. 2wd, lowered w/ 60 series tires? uhhh yeah.
anyway, the place they go is a old stripmine and the ONLY way to get a truck in is thru the back thru BIG ASS deep holes. BUT!!!! you can take a atv thru the front (where there is a big wide open place to play ) b/c you can go down and back out this deep ditch they dug to keep people out. (yeah REAL effective )

well imagine the cousins suprise when i meet them at the front in the open space sittin on the tailgate.

i let them wonder for awhile before i showed them the two 14ft long 12x2s that i layed across the ditch and drove across
