Sorry to postpone this show but the weatherman is predicting a bad rain storm hitting SO CA this weekend. We do not wish to have someone drive a long distance and find the show rained out! Thank you to the guys from Bakersfield, and points North and South.
We are rescheduling the show to Feb 18 th. 9-12 @ Flabob Airport, Riverside, CA. Right off Hwy 60 in Rubidoux. 4130 Mennes Ave, Riverside, 92509
Thank you to all of your who responded, we will feature at least three trophies for Luvs only, Best Luv in show, longest distance, and under contruction, ???
The winners are chosen by show contestants, no charge and no judges.
D.J. music, raffle, contests, and the best breakfast in town at the Historic Flabob Airport Cafe.
For those interested there is another car show just down the street right after ours, and they welcome all Luv trucks to this one too!! Very good show!
Really looking forward to meeting fellow Luv owners....

I don't know if there is a class for planes in the show, but your Luv should walk away with a trophy in my opinion.

Your plane needs trailer hitch. I vote bring the luv.

Roll call. Looks like I wil be towing the LUV out. I have some parts laying around. I have a windshield, a couple rear glass and some stock parts. If anyone going needs this stuff I am sure a breakfast could buy it.

My mom is visiting from Florida so I have to leave at or before noon.

I am having issues too. In a moment of mis-guided enthusiasim I decided to swap on my vintage M/T valve covers. This resulted in having to re-route plug wires due to taller covers and I am on my 3rd try to get them to seal. I worked until 9 last night and thought I had it but arrived at work this morning billowing smoke from the exhaust manifolds. I have one sealed and will try the other again at lunch,

I may have it sealed up now, I will know after I drive home tonight.

I hope the baby makes a recovery by morning Karl, but I know how it goes.

Show is going on tomorrow!!! Weatherman says it will about 70 with light breezes so bring your sunscreen!! Try to arrive before 8:30 for a good parking spot, I have no idea how many Luvs are coming be we will have fun.
Three trophies, longest drive, oldest Luv and Best Luv in show!!
Thanks for all the great responses, hopefully we will be posting pictures here soon.
BTW the airport also has this day set aside as Open Hanger Day. They invite people to drop by and visit, also be sure to see the replica of the Kitty Hawk. One of these days they plan to fly it!!!

Turns out that the family will be here Sunday, not today. But I was exhausted from a hard week and was called into work today anyway. I want to go, so maybe next time. I hope all went well.
