I'm doing a v8 swap soon and i'm not sure if these come out too close to the firewall when mounted. it seems like the headers would need to go more downward. anyone used these shorty headers without issue?

Hooker Headers makes a header specifically for a sbc Luv.
The number is 2140 with a #11030 collector.
Save yourself the headache of getting something that won't fit!

so the point of my post was to ask IF these would fit because they are for sale for $85 and that would save me a small fortune over buying the hooker set for luvs. i am well aware of the available market options however i've heard alot of reports of the hooker headers hanging quite low and would like a shorty header to avoid any clearance issues.

so if you're telling me from experiance that they don't fit then thank you.
however, if you have no knowledge of fit of these headers then please don't bother responding.
