i can pulling my bed off my truck and it has cancer right next to the fuel cap but on the inside it has a fuel filter of some kind...i dont know much about this but can i mount in bottom side of the bed or does someone have another idea what to do?

That is a vapor recovery tank, part of emissions. I guess you could mount it anywhere but it should be up right and above the fuel tank level. If you do move it what gain do you have except a inch in the bed.

hey, thanks for the advise about maybe rerouting the vapor recovery tank. i wasn't concerned about gaining any floor space. i have a full size truck if i needed it. i was wondering bec where it sits the last owner who had it parked it under trees and collected pine needles over the years and thats what caused the bed to cancer out there. the bed is off and i'm in the process of cleaning it up and removing all the rust. i thought about it and after im done im going to rino line the inside and rino line the vapor cover which will blend in. i wasnt sure it i could delete it or do something else with it. its fine. i like how 40 ppl look at this add and one one person replys. come on people everyone needs your input.

yes i do want 40 posts of the same thing...5 people wont think the same thing everytime but the one person might. so if you have something to say then say it. other wise whats this message board for just to look at and say oh okay later. no for other foes to help another out and maybe have something to say about what i asked about. i dont have emissions so it wont matter in washington but if i need to keep it because thats what the truck needs then fine. but at least someone can tell me if i can delete it or not and go another route
