Well, the truck sat for many years according to the previous owner. I believe that it has 65000 original miles. My only guess is that the thermostat corroded during the time that it was not running. The gas tank was also horrible because it sat empty all those years. I bet that I dumped 1/4 pound of rust out of it when I put in the Eastwood kit. It's been great since I got it back on the road. One last little oil leak from the front crankshaft seal is my last project. Well, maybe a little work on the floorboards in the spring. Now if I could only find an original small outside mirror and chrome skinny rear factory bumper......

I was thinking of the skinny rear truck bumper with the hole for the spare tire tool like this one.

I'd love to find a Florian some day. Especially a wagon. Wish I knew someone in a foreign country that could locate one for me.

i was thinking the same thing they really look cool. and if you parked one next to your luv you could see at least a dozen doubletakes a day..
if the shipping wasnt gonna cost more than the car you could probably get one imported from Japan or Australia without too much hassle since they are pre-emissions.
would be cool at shows... luv and a florian

hmmm i will have to see if any of the luvs in the yard have one like that when i go in for parts in a week
i'll add that to the sarcch for list
