Just called a junk yard called "all japanese auto parts" and asked if they had any chevy luvs. they said "we don't do american sir" I informed him it was an import from the 70's. "oh, we don't have anything THAT old" LOL

Try again. I've bought a couple tranmissions from an importer. I believe they are called CT Engines. The guy I talked to, knew more than I did about which motors and trans' will fit, etc. Of course this was several years ago, so I can't vouch for them now.
