damn rental truck is speed limited to 74, would like to reprogram to 80. Anyone have a gm tech II

Im on I10 east of Houston , but can't help with a programmer .

problem you will have is no one will retune it. the tunner would be set to that truck until returned back to stock with same tuner. that is why the used ones say unmarried on them.

I talked a mechanic at San Antonio and asked him to up the speed limiter to 85, he was a mobile truck mechanic at a Flying J truck stop. He said he wouldnt do it but "left his scanner on the bed of his truck as he went to the rest room". I put it back with a 20 next to it. The truck was much more driveable after that.
