 Post subject: 0-60 Times Stock Truck

I was messing around with my gps and I noticed there is a spot where it will show your 0-60 times!! Anyways my bone stock 2wd down to the crappy Hitachi carburetor, I got 0-60 in 27 seconds flat lol. Im interested what others get with there stock trucks.

If you have a android based phone you can install a app called "GPS Speed Free" And You hit start so it can find a few satellites to bounce off of then just stop somewhere on the highway then smash the pedal until you reach the speedlimit. It automatically saves your 0-60 time. Its located under the (I) button called Info.

I don't know about 0-60 but I do know that 0-80 in the mighty all conquering super LUV is about 5 and 1/5 minutes :roll:

my luv with no emissions parts, a weber 32/36, and about 6k on the rebuild did 3 0-60 pulls on the side of I-205 a few mins ago

first one came out 14.25 but i know that wasnt right. second was about 19.5 and 3rd was 18.9. however 2-3rd gear and 3rd-4th gear werent shifted till i hit 5k rpm. i was at 55mph when i finally hit 4th

That's how we used to do it also. We had a street that we knew from the intersection to the one particular phone pole was 1/4 mile. hehehe

saves money. i could break out the garmin but eh... my phone has a stopwatch it works for me
