At 2:30 pm, 04 Sept 02. My truck passed inspection. Now there's another Chevy Luv Truck back on the street. It 's not pretty yet but at this point, I DONT CARE!!! IT"S BACK ON THE ROAD!!

i sure am glad they did away with inspections here in oklahoma cause ive seen some rides that would never pass inspection in afghanistan :D but seriously. hey, are they planning on getting rid of inspections in texas? i thought i heard something about that a while back but maybe i was dreamin.

They tried to get rid of it a couple of years ago. It's still here and the cost went up. Plus they smog test in the metro cities(D,FW,Houston. El Paso) The smart thing to do around here is to find a "Gearhead" kinda shop that does inspections. If they dig your ride, they tend to be more forgiving on meeting the requierments
