Cant wait till Friday night!!!! I am so happy with my truck going 12.74 last week... I changed a few things and should get a 12.50 out of it this week. I dont think that is bad for a daily driver that I got less than 700 dollars in the motor .. I know a lot of folks go a lot faster but they dont hardley drive them as much as I do. .... Maybe the parts for the other Luv will come in and we can BLAST OFF in it too ..... it is the fast one not mine LOL

Later Spanky

Ok didnt make the 12.50 mark but did get some good 60 ft times for a leaf suspension truck like mine. I changed the pinion angle and got from a 2.165 down to a 1.862 .. It leaves real hard now and I like it . did go a 12.77 @ 106 so its there I just got to squeeze it out...

There's a dragstrip near Perry Ga? I used to work at Warner-Robbins AFB and i dont remember any track around there. Is it at the fairgrounds or somthing?

Yeah, I used to have a "spacer" like that on my truck as well. Funny, it also had two lines leading into a blue bottle, go figure.

My spacer has 4 lines that hook to it 2 blue and 2 red! I am working to make use of it for something other than a spacer before long.

KT, I would think that if you took THAT much off your 60FT it should have picked up more than that. I get 1.49 to 1.59 60ft times

Blue Meanie.

You are thinking of Warner Robins Dragway, it has been closed about 11 years now. I miss the place, we had shade trees in the summer and that track would hook.

now when you talk about WR dragway you are in my stompin grounds. I grew up within 2 miles of that track and the first sounds of a engine firing up would get me peddling my bike though the pecan orchard and climbin the fence into the pits. And Yes that track would find your weak points in the drive train for you all you had to do was STAND ON IT!!. As for my times the ET was off but every one I talked with said theirs was also. the air was really heavy after the rain. real muggy. I feel sure I got some 12.50's in the truck and I will get them out real soon. I am going to let it rest for a bit I think unless my Dad can go with me this Sat. then I will take it out again. I am going to do the Z car show and run it that day too.

It has been very humid. My numbers have been off. I should get some 10.90's when it cools down some. Getting it painted next week.

Silver all over.
