I was wondering who on here is from the Sacramento Ca area. It might be a little while but I am thinking about moving there for school. Tell me what you think?

I lived there for a year a long time ago. My wife grew up there and I have other fam. in that area. Same as anywhere. Good and bad areas. I would say it's fine. You should look more into the schools, than worry where they are though.

Yea I found a college that I am going to get my associates degree in welding tech.

I'm about 34 miles northeast of Sacramento. Be sure to check the housing costs, it is higher than alot of areas. Nice place to live, not to far from beach or snow. Not alot of land left to 4 wheel though. Lots and lots of places to fish and boat. Hunting not to far away, especially if your into waterfowl. Steer clear of most of Del Paso Heights unless you like running for cover or being attacked by gangster pit bulls.

I wanted to add North Highlands as a place you probably would not want to live.
