Well look's like it's time to drop some real money into it! I'v had my Luv for a year and I got to say that I Luv it!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But I just don't know how much at this point? Just to keep it on the rode as is, I'm going to need a new transmission. I'm going to need to put a new wiring harness, and some working gauges. Overhaul the engine on the cheap end, but if the engine is out might as well rebuilt it or drop in a new engine. On top of that all the little thing and parts that will add up real quick. I got an other project that I'm working on so the idea of two projects is overwhelming. I also know if I get started I'm going to have to slam it and bag it to add to the cost. I got two bikes but on occasion I need a reliable truck to take my bike or me on a rainy day. Sorry for the long story but I guess its just coming down to once again do I sale my Luv and get a new truck or put the money into it. thanks for your opinions in advance!!!!!!

Repair this one, you already have it. And you don't have to do all of it at one time...

I vote for repair over re-do. Your truck is already pretty custom, you just need to fix some of the bonehead stuff that guys before you did to it. (Yeah, wiring. And radiator core support. And that hole where you can put your foot on the trans). But other than that I think it's a good looking truck, and I bet your engine isn't really in need of a rebuild. Plus you already got an S-10 rear axle or something under it.

Keep it. For what you can fix her up for, you won't have any notes. Also, you will know the truck inside and out so if a gremlin pops up, you can take care of it quick. Besides, look at the fun you will have both during the re-do AND driving it around still.
