Not sure where you guys post events . . . move this if need to be . . . Aug 29th there will be one heck of a 1/8th big money small tire shootout at the Famous Midnight Drags . . . The entry fee is 60 bux and the purse is over 2k and growing fast (i could see it getting as high as 4k ???) . . . its basically a 10.5 tire or smaller (non w) or a 275 if its a radial . . . only power adder allowed is single plate single solenoids nitrous . . . here is the rough flier and all the rules . . .please fill free to post this on any site you frequent that may have people that wanna "get down" . . . and if youre within 400 miles or so you oughta come up and check out the Tulsa midnight drags on aug 29th if you havent every been . . you will see it all !!! Here are the general rules and guidelines.....This is a all run race, there will be only 1 qualifying run and that will determine who has the by first round if there is one. The fastest et of each round will get the by if there is one.

74' and older can be 100 light

Modified Street is a heads-up class designed for passenger cars and trucks from a major manufacturer. Big block conventional head with nitrous, non conventional head naturally aspirated only, Small block any head. Nitrous only. one plate only. One nitrous solenoid, One fuel solenoid, One purge solenoid inline. One Nitrous bottle only. Purge must be redundant inline with nitrous supply line with only one supply line. Aftermarket blocks and cylinder heads allowed. Single carburetor only. Turbochargers and superchargers are not allowed. No wheelie bars. IF YOU HAVE A FOGGER ON THE CAR, THE SOLENOIDS MUST NOT BE ON THE FOGGER. 1 nitrous solenoid per car


Rear Chassis suspension
Stock rear frame rails and suspension required. Minor notching allowed Tech decisions final. Aftermarket control arms, springs, shocks allowed must utilize stock mounting points on fram rails. Relocation of shocks with coil over package allowed. Mini tubs are allowed Tech decision final. LADDER BAR UTILIZING THE STOCK FRAMERAILS OK



Wheels and tires
All Vehicles must race on 28 x 10.5 slicks or smaller sidewall designation No W tires allowed. 275 drag radial allowed. Maximum 12'' wide wheel
No wheelie Bars allowed.


General rules
Deep staging allowed.
All vehicles must cross over scales after every qualifying and elemination round.
All qualifying and elimination will be 400 pro tree
Cars will be paired by drawing out of hat

The track has dubbed this there annual support the troops race, free for military past or presently serving with i.d. or in uniform . . . if your anywhere close to tulsa and wanna come to this please pm me and we will make sure to host you in our group . .and bring your wife/lady as all ours will be there. . .

There are some good races coming in the next few weeks at tulsa drag strip so if any of you are local and dont go out that often or havent been its worth your time .. . they have done some restructuring and really trying to generate some more and new people thru the gates and haveing good time . . .there will be door prizes and more stuff that you havent seen there lately.
