I had to go to Tyler (in between Dallas and Shreveport, LA ) to get it so it has little rust . A little body work and paint first as the salt air will get it fast down here . I am repairing wiring right now , getting all the lights to work . i changed the oil , installed an HEI i had laying around and will rebuild the carb . The ole' 6 runs damn good .

So many projects and not enough money or time... You have to have the most understanding wife I have seen in a long time.
Luv step side, and the 67.

You know that the 67 is a one year hood and front finders... I built one up with my son. Lowered, late model bench seat. Hot 350. Till he broke the crank. 7-8 jorunal. Factory steel cranks would break there. I have seen my fare share of those. It was a nice truck. I liked the way you saw down the hood to the road.... It had both full rear fenders. No spare tire well.

You can build the inliner into a nice little motor. I would build one that way. Good mileage. 5sp tranny... A lot of hop up parts for the 250-292. But you could build a v8 for less $$ I guess. I just like to be different.

Is it going to be your Daily driver?
They tend to get rusty for some reason...
