We have put a couple of hundred miles on it in the last week with no problems. I went to the Main street cruise in last night in Cleveland Tn. and it gets noticed. After Cleveland I went to Dayton to show it to some of the guys I work with. The hood is still not here and there is stuff left unfinished but it is time for road miles again.
I am working on getting Travis here for pictures and maybe a video. I am also trying to get a time for the strip worked out I have so many freinds who want to be there it is going to be hard to do but it will be driven 25 miles to the strip and hopefully driven home. I also want to wait untill the hood is here to go to the strip.
Changes for the rest of this year will be small. I am going to do a little of the bodywork and work on interior, but keep it drivable and go to several car show. There is one in Cleveland on the 20th of Jully and I will be there int the unfinished class.
The frame off was worth it but a lot of work and now it is time for some fun and rest !!! I have to be in Cleveland Monday morning for a front end alignment and after that I will probably head down to Cattanooga!

Ohio wouldn't be a horrible drive from Tennessee. My buddy is supposed to be going there pretty soon to pick up an Opel.

Why an Opel? I don't know. :?

Pics and videos are on the way. Travis was here and we went for a ride with the camera. 8) I am leaving it up to him to get them on here because I know I couldn't do it .I do good to read email.
And as for the Opel, if you listen and get around to some car shows before long you will hear WHY A LUV? I have heard it before.

I made a video of the runs we made, but the transitions I put in between them made the file HUGE!!!!! ugh.... :?
so back to the drawing board.
I may have to sacrifice clairity for file size.... :(

when you get in the truck you notice the lap belt sitting there and you decide to put it on after seeing the massive buncha engine that is in front of you. he starts it up and the engine tries to suck the breath from you.
as he idles across the driveway there is a rumble and a slight whine to the engine. as he presses on the gas the truck rolls down the road with ease, then he slows down and gears down......almost immediately after he hits the gas the tires light up and the engine twists to redline (somewhere around 7,000 rpm) all this time you are pinned to the seat. He hits second gear and the tires are still spinning and the whine of the blower sucks birds, cats and some children are having a hard time staying out of the filter. He hits third gear and lets off because you are already going faster than you thought you needed to go on that backroad......you look around and you can hardly see because your smile is so big it almost shuts your eyes.....

I got video on a disk....it is 123,644KB though.....ugh
I didn't even put music with it either.
the transitions I had in between the runs had to be rendered, so I guess that is why it is so large.....huh huh I said large.... :D

I haven't been able to work on it because some lowlife non-insured person decided to pull out in front of me on tuesday and I have been trying to get the truck in the shop and get my blazer road worthy for a few weeks aswell.

soon......soon......
