Louisiana is the same way, no smog check. I would think tons of cars would have to be grandfathered in somehow. Forcing people to get rid of vehicles they worked hard on (and spent money on which goes into the economy) would NOT be the thing to do. Also, what about the custom car fabricators such as Boyd Coddington (who is deceased). They would have to completely revamp their way of doing things.

Only if there is a way for the federal government to make money on it.
I think that really is a states right to do so or not. At least for now.

I don't get political unless its on a political board. BUT we are going to loose a lot of personal freedom. From crushing old cars, to emissions on classic autos and more... Stand up and don't let this stuff happen, no matter what your political affiliation may be. If it matters to you stand up for it.
