I got a sweet deal on another truck (bagged 76 Ford courier) and I was wondering what the Tow rating on our trucks is? Like will the stock bumper hold up to me pulling another truck and a car dolly? I know if it was possible it would be a slow moving progress. But I would like to know what all you guys think of me towing it home with the Stock 1.8 liter and 4 speed. I really don't wanna have to ask the father in law to borrow his new Dodge. I've done a search and some have said they have towed 18ft car trailers, Kuboto tractors, and hauling 1100 pounds of scrape in the bed but wouldn't recommend doing it again.
Thanks LeDevil

EDIT: The drive is roughly 88 Miles round trip and I would guess 90 to 95% of the driving would be freeway. I'd only be towing the truck the 44 miles home and once again Thanks

i got no idea what the tow rating is on that truck but as long as you take it easy you should have no problem towing the other truck home

The stock bumper should hold up just fine, mine did when I towed my wife's stepside home on a towbar about 30 miles.
The big concern was the clutch.

1. Avoid hills if at all possible.
2. Avoid stops/starts.
3. Take your time, don't be in a hurry.

The problem with many trucks towing is not how much they can move, it's how much they can stop.

Thanks for the input guys.
Hills will be no problem as it is all flat on the way home except one small down hill section which should work to my benefit. Stop and go should be no issue as well 90% of the drive is on Freeway and once off the free way I have 3 lights and I'm home :D Thank you for the help guys
