i found something in the junkyard the other day that raised my curiousity. i have heard of it before and i think ive even seen it, but i can't be sure. i will go in a few days if i can and get pics. it was a '78 (owner's manual was inside) Luv 2wd longbed and it had sport style stripes on the hood tailgate and sides and said "Mighty Mike" on both sides. anyone know anything about this? just curious...

yea i checked it, but i was wondering if anyone else who was on here now had heard of it? and if so, what was it? seems to me like a heavy payload package...maybe a 3/4 ton LUV just kiddin guys!!

Yea, I remember those! Don't know what was special about them though, think you might be right about the beefed up suspension.

This was a decal package... if you do a search on ebay and find a brochure for a 1977 LUV, it will show the decal package: gradiations of blue to white and yellow, blac, red. Sound familiar?

a place called nisqually auto wrecking. if you'd like i could meet ya (love meeting new LUV fans~) and take ya to it. from what i can remmeber the bed wasn't too bad. and the rest was decent...

nisqually always has a few luvs sitting around there. haven't been there in almost 8 months though

there was a black one with no back wheels that said "runs" for 200 bucks a while back. probably went to the crusher though
