Man I have my luv body in my back yard setting on a pallet and a compliance officer has been driving the alleys and notifying people about inoperable vehicles. I was one of those people. She had the nerve to ask "What do you even have it for?" Like it is any of her business. She gave me a week to get rid of it. Instead I just built a friggin' privacy fence around it so now she can't say anything!!! Now the luv is resting in peace until I get the FORD COURIER done. Update on the ford: The motor is in and mounted, moving to the tranny. Still don't know what I will do about the damn headers. That is where it stands though.

how can someone give you shit about them if you own the property. it's not like the luvs are bothering anybody. to have one truck in the back yard i don't see the big deal.

The apartment complex put those green stickers on mine Wednesday and told me I had till Monday at noon to move them or they'll be towed cause I never got tags on them or even registered them... To make it worse, the titles to both of them are GONE... (long story) I ended up having to get both titles bonded and then got tags for them. Total damage... $200.

Sheeeuut.

The motor in my ford is a 351 windsor. Does your buddy have any photos or such?

Ive had the police/non running truck thing happen to me too. I even had a for sale sign in it. Luckily I sold it before my time was up. Alot of times its just upper class people dont like to see our eyesores as they drive by. Bastards. A freind of mine had an old ford car that he trans planted a motor into and he also ended up putting exhaust manifolds on backwards.

Yep, i've seen the stock manifolds work. I think they have to go in upside down and on the other side so they exit at the front of the motor. looks weird but it works.

OK now I am really starting to get upset. I built a privacy fence around my luv and that officer came by again and said that it had to be put in a garage. What the hell???????????? It is out of view of the public and it isn't hurting anyone. This is almost rediculous. I emailed our state capital about this one. This is some real b.s.

A note on the ford: Tried the reversed flipped manifold. As far as I can tell it is going to work. It does look a little strange. The biggest problem that I saw about doing this, is that the driver side manifold touches the steering column. No biggy, I will just space the little steering box as much as I can and bodda bing. Thanks alot for that one, never saw it coming. Had to do that with the mounts that I had, they came out of a ltd flipped em and swapped sides welded them into place work like a charm. Man I am excited. Tell you what, hope the luv isn't as hard as this had been. Started grinding on the luv frame to clean it up and paint. Life is good when things go toward the positive side. Again thanks for helping me out you guys. It is really cool how you chevy boys help out a ford guy. Really I guess I am kind of a swinger. LOL Damn didn't know I could freaking talk this much. It is almost getting out of hand.

Later you guys

Why don't you just get a car cover for it? One of those cloth deals. If she says anything about what's underneath, you can get her for illegal search. She has no right to actually venture on your property and look underneath a cover. Just like she would have no right to look in your garage.
