I've never heard of Suzo, but Mikado was the "luxury" version of the LUV. Most of them came with factory A/C, carpet, and plush door panels, and a different steering wheel.

They are getting rarer and rarer by the day as they fall victum of rust and being sent to the crusher. There were tons made in the day but they just weren't built to last esp since their main purpose was to be a small all purpose utility vehicle. I bet the lady meant Isuzu and probably got that off the valve cover. If you want an unique truck, keep it, the truck magazines keep hinting the next big trend in truck customizing will be Old Skool minis!!! 8)
It is funny too, ask almost anyone that was in high school from the late 70's to mid 80's and a lot will say they had a LUV in school!! 2 guys I work with had em. I am one of us few that was smart enough to take care of it and not sell it.
