When I built my motor for my 74 LUV I was over budget and my wife was letting me know every hour on the hour. When I installed it I tried to go cheap on a starter and just got a stock on from Napa. It never worked correctly but did work. I was adding and subtracting shims allmost weekly, even with the measurement correct it was still not working hot. Last week I had enough and ordered a Tilton. Man what a difference, I should have just bitten the bullet and bought it from the first day. No more cutting corners, I allmost screwed up my flywheel.
