can you use bondo on fiberglass , or what should be used ive got about a 1 inch crack in one of my fenders on the bed any help would be great

Bondo makes a fiberglass filler also,I've used it plenty.

it will work ok but eventually come off ... if you want to use just bondo get the duraglass it has small stands of fiberglass in it... the best way to fix it is to use both fiberglass and bondo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nBxnaY0mFMk

Very good video. You might want to reinforce the backside on a second or third layer of fiberglass and resin going wider on each layer to help prevent it from splitting.
