 Post subject: fuel pressure regulator

what is a good fuel pressure regulator , and do i need to run one with a bypass , i had a summit brand and my fuel pump blew the seals out of it , im using a holley red pump if that makes any difference , thanks

thats weird the red pump doesn`t put out a whole lot of pressure I think 10 psi the black is like 14 and I think the blue is 7. if you have the right pill in it to regulate your pressure it could be possible to do a way with it. but your going to need a presure gauge and get it all set up. the problem you might run in to. is if you set the pill so your pressure is right at idle you may be taking away to much at topend. with a regulator its spring loaded so I think it compensates the pressure when the volume increases under wot.
