Can anyone put a wiring diagram on here how to wire up my electric fan and relay and my electric water pump with a relay.
I took all my wires loose and yep lost my notes.
I have 2 number 10 red hot wires and a ground on my fan. my pump just has 2 14 guage wires with a relay;

Do I need to run a relay on my fuel pum or just the fuse as I have it now.
If you use relays do you need fuses on them.\
Old and senile here.

I have everything all wired back up but those. I have toggles in my dash for each with a constant hot fuse block

Thanks

Usually the relays have the wiring diagram on the side of them.

There are two ways to wire a relay into the elect.system.
The power in and out is always the same but to activate it is where the diff. is .

you run one side to ground and the other to a switch. or the way i like to wire one is to run a jump wire from the power in to the switch end then wire the ground to my switch and ground the relay to activate.

I do it this way so i can have the relay close to the power sorce and or what i am powering then my longest wire is nothing more then a ground wire and less problems with power loss do to long wiring.

Hmmmm, so my electric water pump relay needs to be inside next to my new fuse panel.
my realy on the electric fan has the temp control on it. I have the small ground wire still hooked up to the frame. I have 2 number 10 gauge hot wires off the fan. i know one is the power because I left the inline fuse on it but want to do away with it and use the fuse in my new block.
