OK LUV guys I have a question for you all luv experts. I have been trying to buy this Custom Luv Down in Texas, I am trying to work A deal to trade trucks. I own a 89 Isuzu P'up that is a custom lowrider. It has full hydraulics, Rodeo headlights, toyota front bumper, it has Trooper rear disc brakes, a full step notched frame 4 linked rear suspention. Full custom interior, custom paint. Misc, other things. I am trying to sell it for $5500. Now I am kind of an old school mini truck guy. I have had a few Luvs and a few Datsun 620 pickups. Now the truck I am looking at trading is a 72 LUv full custom, some may have seen it. Ive seen pictures of it on this site. It is chopped, all shaved body, step side, full custom interior and Bed kit, it also has a V6. I almost feel that mine is wortha bit more, but I think his is just as nice as mine just a bit older style which I dont mind...I think it would be a cool truck to fix up a bit make it a touch mondern day. Is this a decent deal or should I keep trying to sell the Isuzu and offer a cash price...Let me know what you think...My truck and the LUV below

honestly? i like the look of luvs, and that one is bad ass! i would think they are about equal prices. i say its up to you and the owner also... but if it was me i would have already done the swap, and never even thought about it!

unless he has fixed it the truck looks great but the hood needed a little work in the hinge department and some of the fiberglass need some work (stress cracks)... the truck was in mcminville here in oregon couple years ago and i stoped in to look at it. i think the guy wanted like $6500 then at the lot... like i said not bat but up close it needs some detailing and touch up's

Ya I test drove it at Larrys Hot Rods. And it was a drcent running rig. It wasnt perfect but it isnt bad for how old it is. I had him down to $4600. But I had to head back to seattle for the next day and he actually sold it out from under me. ANd that is when ti went to Texas..
