Does anyone here have weight bias specification for a stock Luv, 2wd and 4wd? as in total weight, front weight, rear weight?

I'm asking because I want to calculate the amount of engine setback I will need to near the elusive 50/ 50 weight bias for the v8.

If no one has these specs on hand, I will have to pucrhase a scale system which will add to the cost of my buildup. I'm still in the budget and planning stage right now, so the more I can calculate ahead of time the better.

If I end up purchasing the scales, I will post the specs of my 79' 4wd for future users, the CG calculations, setback info etc...

If your not in a hurry I can weigh my stock one the next time I'm by a scale. I typically drive by there at least once a week.

Sure, It will be a start. I think I'll be buying this scale setup http://www.intercomp-racing.com/Product ... EM_838.cfm for
accuracy, and to see the effects whenever I make changes to the truck.

My truck weighs 2620 with a v-8, glide and 9" I have the battery and the fuel cell behind the axle. My engine is as far back as I could get it with out hitting the firewall. If i remember correctly I think it was around 46% rear weight but not positive. We will be getting the modifieds out in a week or two and I will throw the luv on the scales again to be sure.
