I bought a Weiand pro street 177 blower kit and will pick it up tomorrow.

After deep thought It was cheaper than the heads I wanted and I should be able to keep it streetable. :D I have not decided if I will put it on my current engine or wait on the 427 that is at the machine shop. The balance work will be done next week and I can pick it up. 8)

This will delay my project as now I have to set the cab back on the frame and make sure no other modifacations will be needed to the frame.

I hope it clears the windshield!!!!!!!!!!!!

good deal man........I have 2 friends,they're brothers both run 177s on there sbc.one is in a 51 chevy 5 window p/u the other is in a 66 chevy 2.They are great blowers...I was gonna get one for me until I can across the deal I got on my weind 6-71. :drinking:

Man, there is a guy around Dallas that has a Luv that is pretty much strip only and it is blown. I believe it is a big block, but I do know the truck is crazy fast. Be careful with that missle when you get it going. :P

It clears the windshield :lol: so I will be real busy this next week. However I think I am going to have to go to the 6" hood. Breather will be here in the morning and I can get my final measurement.
