I agree with the grille comments, just doesn't jive with the hood. Nice work though...

The suicide doors may look cool...but they aren't very practical. It's pretty hard to get in and out the driver's side around the steering wheel.

And chopping the top on a Luv makes it a truck that only a midget can drive.

Also, I personally wouldn't have covered up the chevrolet letters on the tailgate or screwed with the body lines on the bed. Sometimes you should just leave the lid on that gallon of bondo...lol

And an ugly ass german car grille on a half japanese/half american chevy truck...well what can I say?

IMHO...this truck is proof of 2 things:

First - some people taking auto shop in school spend way too much time at the junkyard.

Second - just because you can do something to your ride...it certainly doesn't mean you should do something to your ride.

while this is true. i still love the look. IMO the top and the bottom dont jive together. i nice 3-4" chop makes it look worlds better.

as for suicide doors....IMO the rear doors on a lead sled or 50s bomber should be the only thing suicide .......ala 64 Lincoln.

the hood looks decent enough i suppose. just fix the 2 "nostrils" on it

the back?....good concept (i like caddy tails) very shitty execution.

First off the grill has to go! The caddy tails don't look right because he didn't french them in like I did on mine, the shaved letters on the tailgate would flow so much better w/the caddys frenched so the entire ass end would be smooth. Here's what mine looks like (still has bodywork but you'll defiantly see the difference).

As for the suicides, can't complain because I'm gonna be suicidin my drivers door. I think the chop looks so awkward because the truck is still stock height, maybe dropped a bit it'll look better. Not sure about the body line on the bed :? and I don't like that the bed rails are cut off :smt102 Also are those fog lights under up front? :smt078 But hey it's not my truck....
