Gotta love the rattle can restorations! Mine I am working on though I have splurged and used Rustoleum instead of the cheap Wal-mart spray paint! lol. Sometimes anything is an improvement though. I will have to get some pics up soon of my rattle can paint job. Post more pics when you get the whole truck finished.

Looks pretty damned good, even for rattle can.
Curious as to how it buffs and polishes up.

Did you decide against rolling it?

well im using semi flat black and oxide primer red, so its not going to polish up any.

i didnt roll it because, well, it takes a long damn time to do that to make it look good. and this is my daily. hat and i only get one day off a week, so, the bombcan will work.

And yes, rolling can be a time consuming bastard.

I thought hoods in Idaho were options anyway.

lol, funny thing about that!

tonite when i was headed home, i got pulled over for not having a rear bumper. so as the cop is lookin at my truck he starts noticing all the parts missing that are supposed to be on the truck, like the side mirror, windshield wipers, the HOOD (lol), and the highbeam lights. it was just funny.

anyways, the hood is done for the most part. just need to pinstripe the paint seem and put it on the truck.

ill have good pics of the truck tomorrow for sure. i should have the paint ALL done tomorrow.

Not bad for the el-cheapo rattle can! Certainly is way better than the old Big Bird yellow!
