Was stumbling around the web looking for Luv sites & came upon this one. Looks like a great place for info on building up my 78.

Well, I'm off to do some reading.

Here's a pic of my project:

As of right now it just has the stock powerplant, but it's in pieces. I blew the head gasket a few years back & now it only runs on 3 cylinders. I have tons of other projects going on right now (house restoration) so the Luv has been put on the back burner. I have been itchin to get it running again.

Hey 77sluv, that is Idaho. I live in Nampa, which is next to Boise in southwest Idaho. And yes I would be up to a trip to Spokane or Coeur d, Alene. I think without looking at a map it would be about 5 hours from you. There seems to be a lot of Luv owners around Seattle, and Spokane and if someone got a meet going at either city, I was planning on attending. I dought my truck will be done, but I am working hard to have it going by summer, but if not I will bring pictures and hopefully meet everyone. I think it would be alot of fun and I plan on going no matter where it is. It would take a serious event to keep me from attending. 8)

Hey Rick, what's up?? Nampa is a pretty cool city!! I have an Aunt and Grandmother that live there. My Aunt lives by Karcher mall (if it is still there). I keep saying I am going to visit her every summer but never get there as last time I was there was 91 and I couldn't believe how much it had grown from the 80's. I can't imagine what it looks like now?? Is Nampa and Boise conncected together yet?? Or at least to Meridian??

Well Tilted you need to make another trip this way. This area is growing like crazy. You would be amazed at the difference. Nampa and Meridian are not hooked together yet, but it is getting close. It is hard to believe that Nampa is Idaho's 2nd biggest city. We just moved here a couple of years ago, and we sure do love Idaho. Hopefully you can come out and visit sometime.
