well i didnt have enough funds this month to get it registered and insured, so in the garage itll sit till next month. im gonna be working a hell of alot of hours this month so i can have the cash to get it goin.

i do have it runnin really well though. well kind of. its still got like a little over a 1/4 of a tank of old stanky gas. it fouled the plug last time i started it. i also need to replace the heater hose that goes from the intake to the front of the head. damn thing springs a leak when it gets hot.

heres a couple pics of it in the garage to keep you guys occupied... lol

and yes... i lowered the front. im gonna lower the back when i get the scratch for the blocks.

i took some pics of the luv today finally. i had to raid the wheels and tires off of it for the pup. it does look pretty cool with the chromie rims on it though.

ill post the pics when i get off work.

OH YEAH! i finally saved up enough cash the get the paperwork for it, and ill be getting it register hopefully next week!! i gotta bust ass now, and get it running again. i need to pump out all the old gas and it should run again on some fresh stuff. hopefully the tank still doesnt have alot of shit in it. thej i gotta get a taillight wiring harness, and a headlight switch and its ready to go.

then when i get it legal, im gonna be raidin the pup for parts. the weber is going on it. the electronic igintion might end up on it too.

then i start tearin into the pup! the 355 is goin to be bought next month along with a set of double hump heads.

Sounds like a good plan. What trans are you thinking of sticking behind the 355 in the PUP?

Hi Farmer, I noticed your LUV looks a lot like mine except you have dual headlights, so let me ask a dumb question and tell me what year your yellow LUV is? Mine's a '78 and I have single headlights. Our LUV plaques on the fender are the same. I'm enjoying the photos you're posting.

not sure yet. itll most likely end up with a th350, but id like to run a stick. ive heard that you can run 4l80e's with manual valve bodies to eliminate the electronic stuff. that would be cool.

but i wouldnt mind a th350 with like 2500 stall. tranny work is expensive though. id like to have fresh tranny to put in it. i do not like pullin trannys out of these swapped trucks. been there done that too many times.
