I really want to get together with some proud LUV owners in Texas! If ya would like to do this just leave a vote and comment. Maybe even rent a drag strip or something. Even if your not from texas and would like to come just let me know.

Some of the smaller drag strips will let you have a event and you could do the test and tune races. Some have called it Club Night. Clubs come have there get together, show and ??? And then it is T&T that can be raced as brackets.

The Sealy Drag Track was doing that, must be others too.

yeah where in texas r you from? Im from waco myself and theres a track around here called prarie hill and they do the same.

I would be all for it! The only problem is that the state is so big. Finding a place that will suite everyone is the big thing. I only hope that it will happen during a time that i can easily get away from work. Im looking at getting a new job soon and i doubt that i could take time off 2 weeks after starting.

Is where we had twice a year big VW drag races and shows. Way too big for a "private" meet, but it is simi middle Texas. A little far for me, but I used to make it twice a year for the VW stuff.

Also it doesn't have to be at a Drag strip. City park, college or? Like the Texas Ranger Hall of Fame in Waco. Lake? It needs to be car friendly. Swap Meets are good.

It just needs to be on a Saturday, as Monday morning is a bitch after a hard drive-party on Sunday 8)
