The same truck I posted about the clutch pedal breaking had a dead battery one morning and I had no jumper cables or charger so I pushed it down the drive and popped the clutch and away to work I went. Unfortunately I wasnt able to hit green lights and had to get out and push start it 3 more times as it would die every time I stopped. Dropped a new battery in it at work and it was fine.

I've done that many a time, my first LUV was prone to losing starters, so I always surveyed anywhere I was going to be stopping for the slightest downhill to park on to make it easier.

when the starter went put on the pup, i push started it for about a week before i could get another starter. that thing was a bastard to get runnin in the cold too. hell it was a bastard to get runnin even with a starter. lol
