Get a winch.the kind with a cable.Or ya can get the other kind and then it really wouldnt matter!

my firend and I were stuck in his jimmy about 3 hours.
I myself ahve only been stuck about 5 minutes, i always wheel with a buddy

ive been meaning to post what happened for a little while. oh ya my g/f said i was stuck 24 hours. and i am really lookin into getting a winch. well my g/f an i wer out drivin and decidec to go 4 wheelin so we went to her house and across the street is a marsh land then a forest so i went through the mars land no prob and was driven out in the forest. i saw it started to get soupy so i turned around and sunk right in. i reminded u i was 300 yds. out in the forest. so i was digging trying to get out and i got a little upset ok so alot up set and my g/f went back to her house. she said she was gonna call a tow truck but instead had her mom come out in her jeep chereoke 4wd. she made it about a 1/4 of the way and sunk in. so i was tryin to get her out the rest of saturday. so we go back to her house when its starting to get dark and call a tow truck. he finally shows up around 10 with a 2wd truck so he tells us hell be back in a while with the 4x4 "tow truck". he returns around midnight and its a 4wd f-150 bone stock. he tries to get her out and gets himself stuck so he call a guy at the tow company with a 4x4 bronco with 35 super swapers. he gets the f-150 out but when he goes to get the jeep out he sinks in. so they leave for the night and say thell be back in the morning. so in the morning i go out to try to get my truck out with a clear head and my dad calls and says hes gonna come and help. he shows up looks at it and says hes gonna go get some come-alones and chains. he returns aroud 2 i remind u the tow truck drivers haven't come yet he brought my uncle with him. so we carry these chains 300 yds and put the chains around the closet tree, 50 ft, with 2 come-alongs in the middle so i get in my truck and pop it in reverse and my dad and uncle start cranking on the come alongs within 20 minutes of them arriving we get it out so i drive back out with no problems and we start on the jeep. we move the jeep 30 ft back out of the ruts and finally around 3 the tow truck drivers show up. so we stop what were doin and get the bronco out. it takes us about an hour to get it out cause it was sunk to the axles. so we get it out cause my dad and uncle told them how to do it and thats the only reason they got it out. so we get it out then my dad and uncle tell the tow truck driver to move his truck some where else so it will be easier to get out so we move it and attach it and start cranking it with me driving. so we get it out in about 20 mins. and my g/fs mom never heard from the tow truck drivers about a bill. i think there not gonna bill her cause we had to tell them how to do it and got there car out. so thats my story and never again will i go tou alone

I had one HELL night in the 4WD luv I had....My g/f and I went up on the mountain with like 3 other trucks. We get on the mountain and riding around and a guy wanted me to lead us to the bottom of this hill. I knew about this hill, but I went down anyway. it was steep down into a ravine and steep back up the other side. Well I get to the bottom and the clutch breaks.....:-0
Well my buddies try to pull me up, but it isn't working. one of the guys in a full size dodge gets stuck trying to maneuver around me. This other group shows up with a cabtruck with 38's on it. they had a looooong barge rope that they attatched to me and took off like a bat out of hell up this hill....well the good thing about a barge rope is that it will stretch instead of yanking the crap out of your ride....He got us up the hill!!! whoohoo! But the fun isn't over yet....remember the clutch is still broken. I assume that it broke internally, because we couldn't see anything wrong at all.
Well I start it up and take off trying not to stop because of the clutch problem.....well my buddies take off the other way!!!!!!!!!! so here I am trying to get off the mountain by myself with no clutch. I end up getting stuck in the road on this rise. We just waited there until some guy came and pulled us out. We went to the powerlines where the other group was camping. Oh yeah by the way that group had a LUV with them! anyway we slept there and drove out the next morning without stopping the whole way down the mountain. The engine had lost alot of power by the time we got down, so I had to call my mom and get her to come pick me up so I can go get a trailer and get the LUV.
I was pissed at my buddies.
so that was MY hell night.
