I seen this on sportruck.com and thought it was an unique approach to porting and polishing. Some might have seen this already.

i just have 5 pounds of sand added to my nitous refill everytime instead.that way it polishes the valves and ports on the way to the piston which inturn sandblasts the pistons and chambers to keep free of carbon deposits. with each pass the sand gets between the pistons & cyl walls effectively boring the engine giving me more displacement. my motor was originally a 283 now thanks to this idea i have a 406.should be up to a 502 by the end of the season. he he can you tell i was bored. :twisted:
