 Post subject: Vin number

I forgot to tell you that the left door was change on my luv. I was told that that is were the vin # is also.
But what I need is to know if there is a vin# on the frame. 1975

There should be a placard on the door frame of the cab underneath the latch striker with the VIN# stamped on it.

On one of the rear frame crossmember supports

There is another location that SOME LUV's had a VIN stamped as well. If you pop the hood, look at the passenger wiper arm and follow the arm down to below the cowl. Most early LUV's have it stamped there.
