hey guys, i had a thought, kinda oriented at you 4x4 guys but not necessarily. what would everyone say to us having a meet? like show up in one place with our LUV's? i would also like to get together with all the 4x4 guys and go play around a little bit. it would be absolutely AWESOME to see a bunch of LUV's all together... and we could all get to know each other and help each other with tech stuff...could be fun even!!

Im in, but where the heck is lacey? Im east side. I plan on goin to seattle area for the Evergreen state fairgrounds Auto swapmeet in april. They have a huge parking lot and fill it up with cool cars. We could get a spot?!?

There are a lot of edmonds and such guys that may be up for it.

I also would like to meet up with anyone in spokane at the Courd a lene hot rod night in late summer......

WELL, ive posted this idea before and got a little interest. You just have to pick a date and a place- let it be known- and they will come.

there is a lot going on over in the seattle area, there are oregon trucks.. etc, could be a cool thing. I say the state that has the biggest meet this summer has everyone else buy a round.

well, im open to just about anytime (as soon as i get a carb!) but i guess the place would rely on the following few things, first, where is a good place which we could show off the street trucks? second, we need a place nearby (relatively) to which we could all pile in the 4x4 models and go play a lil bit!!! well, ill wait for input for a while before i try posting a date and time and place and all that good stuff!!

If you do take the trip to monroe, the swap meet is AWESOME! the parking lot full of cars is sweet. and just 15 minutes toward sultan is more offroading trails than you can handle. we used to live there and highway 2 has big convoys of jeeps and 4x4's traveling down it all day. think about it!

If youve never been to the swap meet, you can spend all day there in a hi performance induced trance.

last year I almost bought a sb chevy dual quad hi rise intake(very high), with two predators, and two tall velocity stacks, air cleaners, dual feed fuel lines,etc..... for $400. didnt want to put it on my car, it would have been a trophy!

If i can in any way plant a little meet 'seed', I am planning to be there that weekend and may drag my truck that weekend at the 1/8 mile drags.

I plan on going to the Monroe swap meet, but not sure if I'll bring the LUV. Still don't have the top on it and it gets pretty wet driving it in this weather.

Ill see if I can find out the swap meet dates. thats a good place to start. Trust me, you WILL NOT be disapointed with the auto swap meet. I can spend all day there lookin at parts and hot rods. I ll check into it over the next few days and post what I find out.
